NOTICE
MANDATORY WATER CONSERVATION

Effective immediately, the City of Barnesville is asking residents and businesses to reduce water consumption. A Level 1 Drought Condition was declared by the Georgia DNR on September 9, 2016 and has persisted to date.
The mandatory water use restriction will serve as a protective measure to maintain adequate water storage in the City Pond reservoir.
If any OUTDOOR watering must occur it is permitted only by the following conditions:
- Odd-Numbered addresses can water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
- Even-Numbered addresses can water on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The cooperation and compliance of our residents is greatly appreciated during this drought period.
