      Water Distribution System

      Eady Creek Reservoir

      Major renovations and expansion of the raw water supply reservoir was complete in 1999. The 6 million dollar project began on July 12, 1997. The dam and reservoir, originally constructed in 1954, has supplied the public with safe dependable water for 45 years. The improvement project increased the dam height from 18 feet to 30.5 feet. The normal pool area increased from 70 acres to 160 acres. This increased the volume of storage from 166 million gallons to 520 million gallons. The facility was designed to provide average daily withdrawal for 100 days of drought.
